google tv ad - Help Please!!!
by Brenda Madge on May 22, 2008 at 9:52:44 am

Hi Guys,

Trying to create a slideshow in AE and export it as a google tv ad based on these specs:

Resolution: 720 x 480 @ 29.97fps (NTSC)
Upper/Top/Odd field first
Codec: AVC H.264 (Main Profile 3.0), MPEG-2 (Main Profile @ Main Level)
Bitrate: At least 6 Mbps (CBR)
Number of frames for NTSC format
30 sec ad: 899 or 900 frames45

http://www.google.com/adwords/tvads/tvguidelines.html.

I tried everything to get good quality when exporting from AE but every time I get a declined message from google saying the image quality is not good enough.

The images I am using are definitely in high quality (exported in PS), so not sure what im doing wrong. The text and logo I am using turns out to be a bit washed out when viewing the exported file in full screen. Should I include the text / logo into the images in PS and then import into AE or should I add the text / logo separately in AE?

Any help Please guys???

Do I export the video from AE uncompressed and then convert it to H.264 in some other app?

Noticed that when I export the video uncompressed or in animation and view it in fullscreen that the text also looks washed out ...

Any ideas??

Thanks guys
