3d walls w/ motion blur become see through
by Tim Robinson on May 15, 2008 at 2:47:40 pm

I created a small 3d hall project (like an art gallery) with a front wall and very small sidewall (like how walls divide kitchen/living rooms in newer homes). When I turned on motion blur, the side wall became so blurry on the edges, you could see through it from the front. I tried adding a back wall as well, but that didn't complete the effect, it looks like you can see through the wall at the corners.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS is there a way to make CERTAIN lights only shine on CERTAIN layers?

Maybe precompose the whole animation and add cc force motion blur to the precomp? This will add a lot to the render time, though. You could also go into the advanced tab on the comp settings dialogue and play with the shutter angle to reduce the blur level.

Sorry, not sure about the lights.
