What happened to the crossfade filter?
by David Rodriguez on May 14, 2008 at 10:30:43 pm

After upgrading to CS3 I no longer see a crossfade filter available. Where did it go?

I don't know when it was there, but I didn't find a crossfade in AE 6.5 or CS3, which are the two versons I have on different machines.

you might be able to write expressions or just save the opacity levels for two layers to presets.

Or you can just animate the opacity of the layers where they overlap so that one is at 0 when the other is at 100 and vice versa (but I assume you knew that)
