3D page turn?
by Alon Admoni on May 5, 2008 at 8:59:22 am

I'm trying to create this animation where the top left of a poker card is being revealed as if someone at the table is checking to see what cards he was dealt.
The CC Page Turn would have worked pretty well if it was able to bend the image in 3D space, but it doesn't.
Can anyone recommend of a way to do this?

Thanks.

Can't be done in AE the way you want it done. You can pivot a masked copy of your card but it will not be realistically bent, it will hinge on an obvious crease.

Never used Zax but the application comes highly regarded around here and the support seems to be adequate.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: "For crying out loud, read the freakin' manual."
