Dear Cows,
I tried looking up this problem in the forums but could not find it.
I have After Effects 6.5
I am studying in Japan for a year and I installed the Asian languages into my Windows XP pro from the Windows start up disk recently. AE was installed on my laptop before that.
Everything works fine until I ran After Effects. Although the main tabs in the top are still in English, all the texts in the windows are jibberish. They are neither Japanese letters nor Roman letters, its just a mess.
here is a photo (sorry for then low res quality, my webserver is down)

I tried going to the language folder in Program Files/Adobe/AfterEffects to click on the English shortcut but I only have the English one.
ALso tried clicking Alt+Control+Shift on start up of AE, clicked ok and still no change. In AE I can click the Edit tab and click Preferences but the window that opens is illegible.
I kind of did not bring any of my software with me on disks or made a proper ghost image of my C-drive
(yes I am an idiot)
Maybe someone here knows what or why.
Greetz Sinan
