Is it safe yet?
by Steve Ford (Steve) on Apr 24, 2008 at 9:54:51 pm

Remember when there was a problem with quick time and the renders would only run for about 10 minutes and quit? I had a computer friend re-load an older version of quick time to fix the problem, but not quick time has been updated at least once if not twice since then. I'm getting a little tired of saying no every time I turn on my computer and it asked if I want to install the update... bottom line... is it now safe to update quick time?

If you're referring to the issue of version 7.4.0, yes. That problem was fixed with the release of 7.4.1.

[Steve Ford] "I'm getting a little tired of saying no every time I turn on my computer and it asked if I want to install the update... "

Hmmmm..... I'm gonna have to ask the engineering staff -- our station's IT guys -- what they did to QT to eliminate that annoying little message. I NEVER get it, and believe me, I'm glad!
