Hi everyone,

I recently started getting into text animation and I saw the tutorials online about text tutorials and I thought about using this as an effect for my senior project...heres the scenario..I have my friend holding a blank notebook (still) and I want to use text animation for random numbers/letters going all over the place....I was told to use text animation, however, the question is do I need to have the animation3D? I'm not sure....please help.

Unless you want the letters to move towards or away from the camera, there is no need to use 3D. If you do want that, however, make sure to watch the tutorial on Per-Character 3D text:
