luma waveform rendering
by Martin Hartmann on Apr 3, 2008 at 11:10:27 pm

hello there,
i'm looking for a solution to render luma waveforms (like the lwf monitors) from footage in after effects. but all plugins (color finess, viviclip, Scopo Gigio) have the luma waveform only in a extra preview window not to render.

do you know some solution. it can also be some standalone software.

thanks and best, martin

• Get a camera
• Aim it at a waveform monitor
• Roll on the camera and play some video

Yeah, thanks a lot. But i'm seeking a more highdefinition and minimal output (no bar´s etc.). Your solution is probably the most effektive.

best, martin

You could use a screen capture program to record those other wave forms and then integrate that footage into your piece. If you're on a mac I like to use SnapX Pro costs $80.
