Basic Text Effect…How to?
by Dirk Dallas on Mar 20, 2008 at 4:38:46 pm

I'm in AFX CS3 and Im just trying to do a basic rotation text effect with the range selectors but I can't properly figure it out, let me describe it:

– For the sentence "VISIT NOW" I would like to have each character start at 90˚ angle (via the Y ROTATION), so you can see them since they are flat and theres no depth to the character.

– Then I would like the "V" then the "I" then the "S"…etc to each turn back at a rotation of 0˚ so that you can now see the characters in full view.

– I would like the turn to start at the "V" and end at then end with the "W"

Im stuck, any help???? Thanks!

Go here:

Look at Aharon Rabinowitz' podcasts on text tips.
