motion sketch audio lag

Using Motion sketch to sync mouse movements to audio.
Everything works fine, until I play the preview back.
I find it's hugely out of sync with the audio, huge delay
in the keyframe to audio sync, am I missing something?
Anyone have this problem?

Maybe I'm just fatalistic and there is a simple good solution, but it's not all that surprising.
There's always going to be some lag between your mouse and computer especially when capturing motion data in real-time, ESPECIALLY when there is audio playback.
The best solution I can think of is to:
A) smooth out the animation (Either ahead of time by raising the smoothness value in Motion Sketch, or with the Smoother tool)
B) If it's just off in time, but it;s all off together, shift the animation keyframes down in time.
C) Also, on the flip side, try the opposite - set smoothing to 0 (it's set to 1 by default) which may actually give you much more accurate frame by frame capture (It works with the puppet tool this way). then use the smoother to smooth it out if needed.

Also if you read Mr Laronde's post a couple weeks back he suggests playing the clip back a few times in RAM preview and it may sync up by the third pass or so..

Thanks for your feedback, I've tried many different
methods with no luck, marker placement tapping only runs for
a small section then stops. Running on a pretty quick machine with lots of ram, I would think this would be pretty simple to lock up realtime.
Are there scripts out there that utilize mouse input,
are there any other methods for locking mouse with audio?
