slow motion in AE

hi... I've seen that Sony Vegas using "supersampling" works better on slow motion than normal "time stretch" in AE. Is there any effects you can add on a clip in AE that makes the slow motion more smooth..?

Did you try to use (time remap).. select your video and chose Ctr+Alt+T then turn on (Frame Blending) on switches ,or try to use timewarp... effect > Time > Timewarp

with both time stretch and time remapping you can enable frame blending in one of two types, frame mix or pixel motion. you might try enabling motion blur with one of those two settings with time stretch to see if that helps smooth things out.
timewarp also has similar interpolation settings within the plugin itself. there are settings to refine its pixel motion interpolation. it also has a motion blur setting that can be enabled to try and smooth things out further...
the draw back of timewarp is if you have interlaced footage. timewarp won't use any of the second field data to help in the interpolation. if you are working with interlaced footage, you might try using timewarp on the footage in a 59.94 (or 50 for pal) comp, then either render that to the correct frame rate (with fields or without) or drop it into a standard frame rate comp for further compositing...

The Timewarp effect is available under Effect > Time > Timewarp. You can get some basic speed ramping effects pretty easily with this effect, but I recommend that you look for tutorials that delve into the nitty-gritty if you want to master it. The more you are slowing or speeding footage the more this effect will tend to rip or smear the footage when using the 'Pixel Motion' mode.

I also have a question in this catagory, is it true that if you shoot at a high frame rate lets say 150 fps you would get better slomo? I was planning to do that and including the twixtor plugin to double my frame rate, then use time warp to get sum sweet slomo.
