funky green lines
by Ryan Lowe on Mar 14, 2008 at 5:16:24 am

So i'm trying to make an animation, however when I add an effect with a plugin I installed, it gives me two green lines making an x across the screen. The x does not move. if i spin the camera, the green line is still the same on the screen. Almost seems like the plugin has a glitch. The plugin i'm using is the cycone Particle world. However i'm using it on AE 7 not CS3. Attached a picture of what it looks like below. If any ideas, i'd love to hear. Thanks, ryan

[Ryan Lowe] "...when I add an effect with a plugin I installed, it gives me two green lines making an x across the screen...."

Get ready to open your wallet.

What you're seeing are marks put on tryout versions of plugins. If you want to lose the marks, you have to buy the plugin.

I need to actually LOOK at the pictures posted. I may have given you the wrong information. Sorry.

I haven't played with CC Particle World yet, but it looks like you might be seeing the particle dispersal limits of the emitter. Depending on the view you're using, it could also be the boundaries of one of your layers.

What happens when you do a RAM preview, or switch to the Active Camera view?

The x just stays like an overlay on the screen. Your probably right about the trial version. Hope its not to expensive :D

Yeah they do that or they put some text over it or it just expires.
