Black and White footage, Revealing a color
by Stephen Jacobson on Mar 12, 2008 at 11:43:23 pm

I have a wedding i'm editing and would like a section to be black and white but would like to reveal the color of the flowers in the bouquet. I've tried masking the area around the bouquet but there's too much detail.. I've seen other footage where just the color of roses are the flower remain but the rest of the video is in black and white.. is there any way to do this easily?

Thanks!

Steve

Try the "Leave Color" effect.

Thanks! I just tried the leave color command with masking and it worked well. I had to adjust the mask as the bride walked down the Isle but the effect looked good.
