layer modes in pre-comps?
by malcolm man on Mar 9, 2008 at 3:22:28 am

I'd just like a layer mode in a precomp to transfer over into my final comp.

I have a fairy with wings in my precomp with a transparent bg. I have the wings set to "add", However, they do not interact with the final comp BG in that way. It makes sense, being that there is no Background in the precomp.

Is there a way to get around this?

[malcolm man] "Is there a way to get around this?"

Enable the "Collapse Transformations/Continuously Rasterize" switch on your pre-comp layer in the final composition.

Thanks! I don't know what the switch looks like, but I'll find out.
