Render error Opening movie

I am rendering out a movie with 3 comps and I created all the images in photoshop. About 10 minutes into the render I get the error

After Effects error; opening movie- you do not have permission to opens this file (-54)
(44 s 53).

I have tried exporting it 100 different ways. any help would be appreciated.

Oooohhh, let me gaze into the crystal ball. Silence, please, while the Inner Eye is at work...
I see an image... it's becoming clearer, now... yes, there it is: a very common error message... oh, now it's getting blurry.
No, wait... wait...yes, the orb is clearing! I see a Macintosh... and Quicktime 7.4!

Yup, I'm gonna bet you're on a Mac running QT 7.4, which is VERY BAD for AE. The particular error message you cite was very common during the QT 7.4 scare about a month ago. Shortly thereafter, Apple released the fix, QT 7.4.1. Download it, install it and you should be good to go.
