QT, one machine has no picture, the other machine no audio (?)

Hey Guys,
I have a quick issue. I have a .MOV file given to me and when I Import it into AE CS3 on my office Mac (which is a Mini… yeah I know you can laugh, my boss didn't get me the tower I wanted) I have no picture, just a white screen with audio. If I place/import that same .MOV file in CS3 on my iBook G4 laptop I see the picture and no audio.
Any one have a solution?
I had to do my project regardless and just took the audio out of the .MOV on the Mini and placed it on my laptop to just get it out.
MY QT version on both are Pro and 7.4.1. Cannot seem to figure out why I am getting these opposite issues on the machines.

[Michael Hyneman]"...when I import it into AE CS3 on my office Mac... I have no picture, just a white screen with audio."
That sounds like you're missing the proper codec.
"If I place/import that same .MOV file in CS3 on my iBook G4 laptop I see the picture and no audio. "
And THAT sounds like it's an MPEG 2 file or something, with muxed audio instead of a separate audio track. But if it was muxed audio, how could you play it on the other machine?

Thanks Dave for reading my post.
I know, it is weird. My co-worker has no issue with the same file working video and audio wise and neither of could figure it out. I just figured it was one of those one in a million flukes that happens.
