Lost Codec
by Joe Gorges on Feb 8, 2008 at 5:03:32 pm

Hello, my problem is that I want to render out my videos in sorensen 3 codec, but that isn't an option when I pull down the tab. It used to be there, but then all of a sudden it wasn't there.

I'm having this problem on both my pc with AE, and my Mac with motion and compressor.

any help or ideas I could try would be awesome, thanks

You might have to tweak Quicktime Pro. I've read something about having to activate Legacy Codecs in preferences.

Legacy codecs! Please. What, just because they're not m4v or h.264, they're no longer worthy or something?

Dave, you're the man! It worked just like you thought it would. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! Thanks man!
