Keylight and resolution dropping when rendering!
by Mikko Löppönen (maarek) on Feb 4, 2008 at 8:07:48 am

Hi all!

I'm having a very strange problem where everything looks great in my composition, but when I output to disk it drops some resolution. I have a greenscreen where I've used keylight succesfully. Everything looks great while in after effects. When I start to render, the first four-five frames look great, but then something happens and keylight seems to drop resolution as suddenly there are jaggies everywhere in the keylighted video. I've gone through all the settings I could think of, to no avail.

I'm using a macpro and After Effects CS3.

Any suggestions would be helpful!

When you shot the footage, was the camera set on auto iris? You could get a problem like that if your answer is yes.
