How do i take my AE composition in to Encore as a menu?
by Oliver Morgan on Feb 4, 2008 at 12:19:00 am

I'm new to After Effects, but i've managed to create a rather cool looking menu for a DVD i'm trying to create. But I have no idea how to take it in to Encore. I can't find any tutorials for this anywhere.

My creation is fairly simple. I have a Photoshop image which I have added a video to in After Effects and played around with it a bit. How do i now take this into Encore and have it function as a menu? I've had some experience with Encore before, so know how to get buttons to work etc. but I can see no way to take this composition from AE into Encore and have it function as a menu with my video in motion.

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...

This is actually an Encore question. Find out what image/movie formats Encore needs for menus, then make those in AE.

There's an ongoing thread on this topic in the encore forum:

If you have any more questions on this after reading the thread, ask them there and I'll try to help!

Simon
