I am having a strange issue on one of my Leopard-based mac stations with CS3 - installed plugins do not show in the plugins list within AE, and we get a strange notice saying plugin missing or some such. This problem was happening before the upgrade to Leopard so I doubt it has much to do with that.

I purchased the latest Trapcode 3D Stroke just a month or so ago, and the Red Giant site says if you purchased BEFORE August 2007 you need an update. Thing is, it sounds like the problem IS Leopard, as their site also says none of the Red Giant plugins are 10.5 compatible, with no planned date to MAKE them compatible.
Is anyone else on Leopard experiencing problems with their plugins?

I had this problem with Trapcode plugz in Leopard. I managed to fix this with help from a Cow post (sorry I can't point you directly to it) but basically it said to move the trapcode plugz folder to a different location. Apparently the 'mediacore' folder is where Trapcode likes to live in Leopard. Here's where mine is...
