Chromatic Abberation
by Joe Pallagio on Jan 18, 2008 at 10:05:46 pm

I was just going through the old posts concerning Chromatic Abberation and I had a couple questions. What is the Sapphire plugin that would do this, and when I split out my footage into 3 channels and then screen the top 2 over the third the image is now black and white. Do I need to put my original footage back over the separate channels? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
J

[Joe Pallagio] "when I split out my footage into 3 channels and then screen the top 2 over the third the image is now black and white."

It sounds like you're not splitting the channels properly. What effect are you using?

If you use Channel > Shift Channels then you should have these settings for your Red layer (for example):

Alpha - Alpha
Red - Red
Green - Full Off
Blue - Full Off
