Any suggestions on how to best achieve the following?

Want to make 50 or more pages standing on end (perpendicular to a table) bound together on one side (simulating a book with invisible cover and binding), pages slightly fanned apart, suddenly collapse onto a table. It's as if the binding suddenly let go and gravity fell them from a neat standing position into a flat haphazard pile. Kind of like Pick Up Sticks.

Wondered if Particular might somehow be best? Form? Maybe Card Wipe or Card Dance? Looking for that organic, random feel without millions of keyframes.

Thanks!
Tudor
