After Effects keeps crashing... Out of memory

Help! I've been trying to render a composition that's around 10 minutes with various effects such as colorista, Rebel CC vignette, and time remap. Everytime it gets to the time remapped portion, it crashes with an out of memory error. My export settings are a quicktime movie (short on time!), 1440 HDV 24p. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Search "secret preferences": hold shift (pc) before selecting memory-cache preferences, in pull down menu click on secret and set purge every 15 frames during make movie. This will clear the rendered frames and hopefully stop your memory errors.

hold down control+alt+shift go to the preferences and select memory & cache once you are there select from the drop down menu, that takes you to the other preferences, the secret menu.
