by Cagri Biber on Dec 23, 2007 at 4:46:43 am

hey!
im tring to create a 3d room with 4 walls, floor and ceiling. i have a drawings of each wall, floor and ceiling and i want to move the camera 360 degrees inside the room. like seeing the room through the bee's eyes:)
i tried to solve this problem with Andrew Kramer's 3D Camera Projection tutorial but i couldn't move the camera 360 degrees. Can i do that with AE??

You're best bet is to make your camera a 1-point camera instead of a (default) 2-point camera.

Select the camera layer and choose: Layer > Transform > Auto Orient

Set it from Point of Interest to "None" (or is it off - not in front of AE right now).

Once you do that, you can use the cameras Y rotation property to freely rotate around it's own anchor point instead of the point of interest's position.
