Open GL Render problem
by Clayton Light on Dec 21, 2007 at 9:01:30 pm

I'm using a quad core Mac Pro, 3gHz, 8 megs RAM with an NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 graphics card (512megs). When I try yo render from AE CS3 using Open GL Render I get a texture error.

Is this an out of date driver issue? What should I do?

Thanks

If it was my machine, I'd simply disable Open GL Rendering in AE. While it's true that the Adobe literature talks about Open GL compatibility, it's also true that it isn't totally compatible.

I bet when you disable Open Gl, the problem goes away.

i'll also say that with a quad and cs3's multiprocessing render engine, the ae render is most likely faster than the opengl render. ae cannot render with both engines, it's either multiprocessing or opengl...
