Output for FCP
by Mitch Lee on Dec 6, 2007 at 10:11:47 pm

Whats the best codec or output method for bringing clips back into final cut pro (studio2).
I have AE CS3. I was having outputing a clip that i had keyed and done some coloring too, that i outputted to h.264. it crapped out half way. i tried using animation as my codec. but final cut says its incompatible codec. any advice would be great.

Whaaaaa? I have NEVER seen an error message like that! Are you sure FCP doesn't simply want you to render the file when you put it into the FCP timeline?

Which is no big deal.....
