After I trashed preferences (and emptied the trash) @ User > library > Preferences > Adobe > After Effects > 8.0 > Adobe After Effects 8.0 Prefs the trillions option shows up in AE. He doesn't have FCP 6. Is there a way I can get him the codec so he can render out of AE with it? I am on the most up to date Tiger/Quicktime/FCP there is (all the updates were posted about two weeks ago) FCP 6.0.2, QT 7.3, OS 10.4.11. On a side note, FCP is much more stable @ 6.0.2 than 6.0.1 and I haven't seen any issues with QT7.3. Personally, i think the upgrade is worth it as long as your capture card drivers can support the latest update, but I can understand if you don't want to update.
