Is this PC Enought for AE?

I bought a new pc thinkin' that AE would work perfectly, but its slow... i mean i do simple animations and the preview is so slow :S. Maybe there is some configuration? please help me, it really piss me off when i try to do sth and the program works so slowly... it hurts!

This is my PC

Intel Pentium Core2duo E6420 1066mhz Fsb Box
Mother Intel D975xbx2 Box 975x Core2
Ram Kingston Ddr2 2 Gb 667 Mhz Pc 5300 1024 1gb Ddr
HD 320 Gb - Sata 2 - Western Digital
Xfx Nvidia Geforce 7600 Gs 512 Ddr2
PLACA EDITORA CANOPUS ACEDVIO FULL BOX (is for video edition, this could help in AE or not?)

The PC you have listed is fine. There are better systems, but what you show should do a decent job. Was your old system faster???? It sounds like you may new to AE. Slow RAM previews are expected, depending on the affects used. AE won't be as fast as any NLE you may have been using.
