ae 3d scale / shadows
by Jorgen Follestad on Nov 20, 2007 at 3:53:04 pm

Hi, Im currently working on a project where we have built a stage in
max with a real world scale, this is imported to After effects along
with the camera using max2ae...the scale in after effects is quite
different, and as I'm not an expert on unit sizes etc I'm having
difficulties with the scale Im forced to then use on my after effects
layers, which I have to scale down to 1% of original size...this seems
to bring up issues with my shadows that become very blurry and strange
at this scale...

- is there any way to sort out my shadows so I dont have to setup my
whole project over again?

- are there other problems that might arise while working with such
extreme scales in after effects 3d

- how should I have avoided this problem from the beginning

hope someone can help! best regards ;)orgen
