Pretty much the same as the Quad Xeon that's been out for a while...more cores, more GHz = all good for AE! I think AMD chips might have more L2 cache than the Xeons (old Xeons), which means more RAM throughput I think. New Harpertown Xeons have more throughput too, but not sure if they're out yet.

Don't know...read the specs on AMD website and compare them.
