Stroke effect and illustrator file and 3d = frustration
by Galumph on Nov 13, 2007 at 7:05:06 am

So what I am trying to do is simple I think. I have some fonts imported from illustrator. I did a stroke write to reveal effect to my words. I then precomped them. In the new composition I made them into 3d layers and added the camera. For some reason, the write to reveal effect goes all wonky if I turn the rasterize icon on. If I render without the rasterize its fine but of course fuzzy. But if it is turned on, it almost seems the stroke effect goes crazy. Anyone know?? Its a bit frustrating because I have a feeling the solution is simple, like always.
thanks cow people

Just a thought, but if the .ai files are just fonts, you might try replacing one with AE text and see if it makes a difference...
