Alpha offset color stroke
by Lowtech on Nov 12, 2007 at 3:14:19 pm

Hey Cow users
I have been trying to find a way to add a solid color stroke to the alpha channel of a green screen shot with no luck. I have tried tons of combinations of channels and mattes. I just cant find the right combination. i need to be able to change the color of the stroke and have it flow nicely between frames with out it popping and jumping between frames. Also it would be nice if the edges of the stroke where nice and crisp.

Thanks

check out aharon robinowitz's tutorial for his method, it's pretty simple.

also search the archives, there was someone who posted a technique that used only keylight about a month ago. so if you used keylight to key your footage, then you might only need to change a setting or two.
