.aec in AE7?

I exported an aec file out of cinema 4d. tutorials online seem to be indicating you can just drop it into the project window. This isn't working for me. Any advice on how I can open my .aec file in After Effects 7?

You might need the latest version of the plug from the Maxon site ...?

Or maybe you have R10 and need to update the Maxon plugin?

Excellent! I have 4d R10 and AE7. Any clue where I could get said plugin? I looked on there site, but it didn't jump out at me. Their plugin section doesn't seem to have it.
