Noise Blur
by finalrenderfilms on Sep 26, 2007 at 3:29:32 pm

I'm setting up a preset, and I wanna try to figure out how to get a blur effect to only blur a noise effect on the same layer. Is this possible? I want to be able to control how much blur is applied to the noise, but not the layer the blur and the noise effects are on. Is this possible?

Sorry, it sounds like this is a job for more than one layer.

But there's nothing to stop you from getting it the way you want using multiple layers, then merely replacing footage. Heck, you can even make it a separate project and import it into a current project when needed.

Ya i know, I just wanted to try to get it all on one layer. I'm parenting the blur to the noise amount to control it easier, but adding a /2 expression on the end so that if the noise amount is at 100, the blur will be 50.
