h264 render/export problem
by jochem on Sep 13, 2007 at 1:59:45 pm

Hi,
when I render to an h264 .mov from AE, the resulting movie is way too bright, and downright ugly

by the way, the same problem occurs when I convert to h264 from qt, using an intermediate render (say with anim codec)

in qt settings, all filters are disabled
max quality..

Are you by chance on a workstation running WinXP Pro 64-bit? I am posting similar issues with QT codecs. However, mine are coming out too dull.

no, it's WinXP pro 32bit

I did a test on my other (older) computer, same OS, and results are normal as far as I can see
no 'washed colors' at all..

strange,..
