Just how integrated is Cinema 4d with AE

I have already invested money in updating my Lightwave 3d app.
But I am thinking to myself that the time I invest in learning and using the app is going to dwarf the monetary investment.
So I hear all this talk about Cinema 4D and AE...and as I stand ready to take a huge dive I want to get clear on a few things....
I want to determine simply this: Exactly HOW integrated is 4D and how much difference does that make to one's After Effects work?
I have to assume that Lightwave and Cinema4d probably each do some things better. But if AE work is central for me--would it make THAT much difference to have camera and light and scene integration--and does it really work easily and seamlessly?
I wish I could have witnessed the Maxon tour but I couldn't. Is there any on-line tour that addresses interoperability with AE?

Craig-- I too missed the power of integration tour-- I missed it by an hour - I couldnt get off work in time and when I finally made it to Siggraph they told me it was over.. BUT NEVER FEAR!! They also told me that they were going to post a stream of their power of integration tour online very soon. I check the Maxon site from time to time -- I'll throw a post when it goes up:)
