30p to 24p

30p to 24p

I have read somewhere that to convert 30p footage to 24 p, just drop every 5th full frame. But I don't know exactly how to do it in AE7. Can someone help me? thanks.

Just place your footage on a 24fps comp and it will drop them for you. Be sure to experiement to find the best solution. Check out output also you may want to use a 23.976 comp instead.
