AE7 CRASH CANNOT CREATE 1280 X 720 IMAGE BUFFER

hey guys,

im rendering some AE7 projects on my quad g5 intel 3.0 machine. It keeps crashing with an error message: cannot create image buffer of 1280 X 720??? im working with 720 X 486 footage and comp settings. why is this crashing and what can i do to fix it?

When was the last time you restarted, or better yet, shut down your machine? Give it a try.

if you haven't already, read graham jones posts HOW TO USE AE7 WITH INTEL MACS. (there is a link at the top of the page above frequently asked ?'s) sounds like it might be the standard memory difficulties with the intel macs and afx7. his suggestions helped me a lot with this kind of mem problem. if you can do without non adobe plugs consider the afx8 beta download. it actually works great and has been very solid for me on intel quad.
