Disappearing Clip
by woowho2000 on May 1, 2007 at 6:04:50 pm

I have a video clip of a golfer sinking a put, as a transition I would like the clip to follow the ball into the hole and disappear revealing the next clip. Other than keyframing the size of the clip to disappear inside the cup does anyone have a suggestion for making a nice transition of the clip slowly sliding as if it were melting and disappearing into the hole?

Thanks, Chris- Mn

You might try using the Mr Mercury (Effect/Simulation/CC Mr Mercury). It has a kind of rounded edge mercury (liquid) effect that you can control. It might resemble liquid sucking into the hole revealing the next clip undernieth.
