Volcano Effect

Anyone have any ideas on how to do a volcano explosion effect? We have a shot with a mountain in the background and we'd like to make itlook like an erupting volcano. Nothing too fancy, we'll probably have it out of focus to make it look a little bit more realistic. But we're trying to avoid using anything like Maya and the like and keep it all strictly AE. Hit me back if you got any ideas.

Hey,

You could always try to make a lava texture, play with Particle Playground and invert the Matte Chocker. Add some glow.

Just an idea.
