Pixel Aspect Ratio in HDV Query?
by Jon_Alpha on Dec 19, 2006 at 10:46:24 am

Hello all, I'm using AE 6.5 and I wanted to import some HDV (1080i PAL) or even DVCPRO HD (1080i) into After Effects to put cinelook on it. What is the aspect ratio I should use for the project?

Jon

That should be in one of the presets in AE when you go to Composition>New Composition. It is in AE7.0 anyway.

If not then just set it up yourself:

1440 x 1080 width & height
frame rate for PAL: 25
Aspect ratio: HDV 1080/DVCPRO HD or just use 1.333
