Sclae multiple layers to a fixed percent

Hi guys,
Hopefully someone can figure out how to solve this problem - it's probably really simple but I can't figure out how to do it.
I have a completed project which was wrongly created as a Square Pixel comp instead of a PAL HDV comp, so when I drop in my footage everything is out of wack. I've change the comp settings to the correct ones but need to scale several layers from w 100% h 100% to w 75% h 100%. Some of the layers which will need to be resized in a similar way are scaled in the animation to a variety of sizes e.g. 69% 328% etc.
My question is, knowing that the unscaled footage needs to have it's width reduced by 25%, is there a quick way that I can select all instances of that footage, with their varying scales and globally reduce their width scale by 25% relevant to their current scale?
I hope that makes sense.
Thanks for the help

Perhaps a null object might help. What you want to do is parent all the layers you want to uniformlly resize and link them to the null. Then resize the null and the other layers will adjust relative to there current size and position.

...and just to show you that there's usually more than one way to skin a cat in AE, here's another solution:
Make your HDV comp in the proper resolution frame rate and duration. Put your square-pixel comp inside the HDV comp and highlight it.
Now use the "scale the layer to fit the comp" command. That isn't its real name, but that's what it does. On a mac, the keyboard shortcut is command-option-f... and on a windows machine, I suppose it would be control-alt-f.
