AE7PRo... rendering OpenGL max quality is pixelated!?!?
by AlecLuna on Sep 5, 2006 at 3:56:54 am

Ok... two settings:

1. Render WITHOUT OpenGL hardware mode, full res NTSC D1. either progressive fields or interlaced work perfectly.

2. Render WITH OpenGL hmode, full res. NTSC D1. no matter which option you choose, it seems as if OpenGL rendered half resolution and stretched it, EVERYTHING IS PIXELATED.

nVidia 6600 GT, OpenGL 2.0 supported perfectly, rendering at half size works perfectly, problem us full.

Any... ANY clues??? I just want to take advantage of hardware rendering with OpenGL since I don't need much effects on my post-production but use blurs, masks and blending modes and need SPEED.

Thank you anyone!
Alec

OpenGL only works with square pixels. You cannot render your anamorphic comps with it and expect them to look good.
