Pixelated text
by A.N. (avrnosn) on Aug 27, 2006 at 5:22:45 am

Regular text in After Effects comes out bitmaped in a final hi-res qt movie. Settings: Best quatlity, DV NTSC. Is there a setting I'm not aware of? How can I get sharp text in a final render?

Thanks,

A.N.

Perhaps you're not viewing the DV quicktime in high quality (in Quicktime player), or a de-interlaced version of it (interpreted as lower field first in AE) ?

If you are working with AE 7, in your render settings, maybe uncheck the "use open GL renderer"

Check your view settingings inside the master comp your rendering from. They'll render out as set.
