importing 3D pz3 files into AE...possible? Workable?
by seamus on Jul 4, 2006 at 5:06:53 am

Hello all,
How easily can I work with a 3d file (.pz3) in AE? It is a spaceship that I would like to animate through z space.
Its something off a 3d library website, and depending if I can work with it will determine whether we buy it.

Is this something that just works in AE?
Or do I have to get some particular plug in?

or is it a no go?

I seem to remember that it is possible. But not sure.

Thankyou in advance

Hi,

You need Invigorator Pro or ProAnimator from http://www.zaxwerks.com to import a 3D object into AE. Unfortunately Poser is not supported. Check if your object is also available in a supported format like LWO, OBJ, 3DS...
Visit the Zaxwerks site to learn more.

Salut.
Serge
