Effect needed but don't know how to search for it
by gregg brent (Gregg Brent) on Oct 3, 2005 at 7:03:49 pm

it's that look where there are rows of various video clips in separate 'frames' scrolling across the screen and sporatically one is 'pulled' from the pack to highlight.. then it goes back into the fray and a new one pops out.

i'm sure i'm not explaining this correctly..

This isn't exactly a plug-in.
this sounds more like after effects 3D stuff.

Make a bunch of 3d layers and place them in a row then have a camera fly down the row, at some point you can have one come forward or something. You description is a little vague but i'm afraid there is no magic plug-in for this one.

You don't even need to do it in 3d, although I think 3d would look better. Just scale down the video layers and parent them all to a null and scroll them on by. You'll have to split the layer you want to come forward and make the copy not parented to the null obviously.

But he's right, no plugin, proper work.
