hi

ok i have a two minute video that i'd like to showcase on my website.

the size of it doesnt have to be huge, about the size of the below marks..

i do want to keep a good degree of picture quality.. so i was wondering which codec to use as it is 2mins long so i dont want it to be to big for ppl to download.. ok any help wit the settings and general advice would also be appreciated. cheers.

It might be better if you just gave a resolution instead of drawing something. People with different text size settings in their browser will see different sizes.

The only way to get really good quality video ono the web while keeping the file size at a minimum is to use software that is designed to compress cleanly - such as Cleaner or Sorenson Squeeze.

I have my reel at 320x240 at 2.5 minutes and it's only 10 MB thanks to squeeze.

Otherwise you have to use codecs or formats that while maybe somewhat clean or small, aren't on a lot of computers.
