I used the 3D layers to model a car, there are about 30 layers in all... I then built a street for it to drive down in another comp, with about 20 layers. When I went to place my car on the street, (by dragging the "car" comp from the project window into the timeline) it shows up as only a 2D view from the "active camera" view in the other comp (even if I make it a 3d layer.)

Is there a way to nest the "car" comp in the "Road" comp and still have the car be 3D?

Thanks

Johnny

Did you try clicking the "continuous rasterization" switch for the comp layer?

It's the little sunburst in the timeline.

Steve
