White screen after render in After Effects

White screen after render in After Effects

I am having problems with After Effects CS5.5. IT allows me to edit my template or create my own but when I render the end product it has screen burns in it. It's like the screen turns to white fuzz just for a second or two several times during the final program. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Nope. Tell us the specifics about the video footage you're using, the effects applied and details about your computer first so we have a fighting chance of helping you.

I agree with Dave- post a clip also that shows the problem.

hi sounds like the template youve got is a 16 bit project and youve put 8bit footage into it, some codecs dont like the upscale. change the project to 8 bit and you should be ok.
