 | After Effects CS4 vs. After Effects Pro CS4: Difference?
by Vic Noseworthy on Oct 24, 2012 at 10:06:57 am |
Hi folks,
Anyone know the difference(s) between the Pro and regular versions of AE CS4? Specifically, I'm wondering if the regular version is limited with regards to the bit depth it can use for projects. I know 8 bit is common, and 16 bit is possible with the Pro version; but, is 16 bit also possible with the regular version?
Thanks very much.

There's only one version of AE CS4. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Oh! I'd read somewhere about a Pro version of After Effects. Is there a Pro version in any other of the Suites? (CS3, CS5, CS6).
Thanks very much, Tero.

There USED to be a difference. There No longer is a difference. I think the difference ended with AE7; you have AE9, aka CS4.
